What about some EVENTS and FREE things to do ?
There’s always plenty of things to do in Perth that don’t cost a cent so after you’ve enjoyed one of the above activities, be sure to check out the rest the city has to offer. Kings Park is a place that most kids grow up always remembering their visit. Whether it’s the wide green open space where they can run or the many adventure playgrounds, its easy to pack up a picnic and spend a day here. Elizabeth Quay close by caters well for the children especially during the winter wonderland Ice Skating Rink and the delicious food & drink stalls for the parents!
While you’re in Fremantle why not check out the Fremantle Festival 12-21 July which will be hosting a bunch of different shows for adults and kids, like Oddysea… an immersive, multi-sensory theatre production designed for children with disabilities.
We know where we’ll be taking our kids though (after lunch at one of the wineries) and that’s The A*mazing Lego Hunt out at The Maze in the Swan Valley. This will totally keep the kids entertained finding lego throughout one of six mazes!
