Sea kayaking is a fantastic way to explore these rugged limestone islands (approx 1km offshore) and their unique wildlife including: Australia Sea Lions, Little Blue Penguins, Colonies of Pelicans and thousands of other sea birds that use these islands as safe nesting places.
Tour includes:
- Double sea kayaks and paddles
- Lifejackets
- Long sleeve sun shirts
- Hat
- Dry bag
- Snorkelling gear (during the warmer months)
- Qualified guide and guided walk and snorkelling on Penguin Island (summer months)
- Healthy Brunch Picnic
Tour Departs:
8.00am Daily between September to April - see calendar for availablity
Departure Point:
Meet at Shoalwater at 8:00am at Pengos Cafe car park, 153 Arcadia Road, Shoalwater, Rockingham. Please look for our ute and yellow sea kayaks in the northern car park, and introduce yourself to your guide upon arrival. Tour ends between 1 and 2pm, it depends on variables like weather conditions, group abilities etc.
What To Bring:
Drinking water, Sunscreen, bathers/boardies, camera. thongs, jacket (during the cooler months) and a change of clothes if you would like to get changed after the paddle. NOTE:A minimum of 2 people are required for this tour to be confirmed. Maximum weight allowed is 115kg/per person, minimum age is 8 years old and participants must be able to understand English instructions
