DAY 1:  We travel south from Perth driving through farmland with grazing cattle and passing by the coastal towns. Arriving at Busselton, known as the gateway to the Margaret River Region, we stop for morning tea (own expense) to view the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. (please note there is not enough time at this stop to walk the full length of the jetty).

Driving into the heart of the region, we head to one of Margaret River’s boutique breweries for lunch (venue may change due to force majeure) with complimentary beer and cider tastings. Following lunch, we enjoy further wine tasting from a selected winery (varies depending on availability), whilst gaining industry insights on wine production with the opportunity to purchase.

Next it’s on to Mammoth Cave for a guided tour through this gothic cave with vast chambers that reveal fascinating information on the region’s flora and fauna. Continuing south, through the Boranup Forest of enormous Karri Trees, we reach the most fascinating part of the region at Augusta. Here at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, marvel at the dividing point between the Southern and Indian oceans – a rare phenomenon to view the meeting of two oceans. Then we to our accommodation for check-in. Meals included today are lunch and dinner.

DAY 2: Enjoy a sleep-in and breakfast at your hotel before your checkout; please store your bags at reception in time for a 9.00 - 9.30am departure. Continuing on for the day, join your Margaret River Food Lovers Tour and discover how they capture the magic of local ingredients and the passion of their people, to create an exclusive and unforgettable experience. The Margaret River Food Lovers Tour celebrates the region's best food and wine artisans. Savour wine tastings in a tranquil and intimate fashion at a range of remarkable boutique and 5-star wineries. Today's tour includes:

• Tastings at boutique wineries
• Sample dozens of local gourmet foods
• A delicious winery lunch
• Get a rare glimpse into the heart of these iconic boutique wineries with a guided tour through their stunning vineyards

After indulging at all these beautiful stops it’s time to collect your luggage from the hotel as you will now be re-joining your Coach Captain for the drive back to Perth stopping for a light dinner along the way. Meals included today are breakfast and lunch. Dinner is at own expense.

Tour Departs:

Monday, Thursday and Friday's - 7.30am from Red Tourist Bus Stop at Barrack Street Jetty or 7.45am from Crown Metropol (Riverside Entry - Tourist Bus Stop next to Taxi Rank outside the Foodcourt).  You must stipulate which pick up point you will be meeting your driver and guide - this can be done at time of booking.  Please ensure you are waiting at least 10 mins prior to ensure you do not miss your pick up.

Vineyards are closed on Good Friday, 25th of December and some public holidays.
