This indulgent day has just the balance of wine tasting accompanied by gourmet cheese tastings, chocolate, coffee, plus the excellent personal knowledge of the area and the local suppliers.
Our first stop is Yahava Koffeeworks for a demonstration on how to brew a coffee and learn about the origin of coffee while enjoying the extended tasting. Next we visit McHenry Hohnen, where you can appreciate the sustainable, eco-friendly practices while tasting the fruitful results paired with local meats and cheese on crackers.
Continuing onto family owned and operated vineyard Brown Hill Estate who have a passionate team that utilises traditional wine-making methods such as hand picking and sorting the fruit. They specialise in using small, intensely flavoured grapes, which create deeper, richer wines. Observe the wine-making processes, tour the barrel room and learn more about the history of the winery from their trusted experts.
Then its onto our lunch spot for the day - the Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines for a two-course feast and glass of wine. Our last stop is at Wild Hop Brewing Company, where you can have a change of pace and sip some cold beer while enjoying the chill vibes and tranquil views.
