Enjoy the serenity and stillness of the upper Swan River as you paddle your double kayaks towards Mandoon Winery for an all inclusive wine tasting at the magnificent Mandoon Estate.
We meet at Mandoon Estate Winery and launch from Mandoon’s private jetty on the Swan River. We then paddle slowly down river, taking time to admire the natural beauty and unique flora and fauna of this special, serene, meandering section of the river. Our journey includes a number of ‘raft up’s’ where we get together ‘mid-stream’ for a chat and a story.
We continue with our paddle arriving at the historical Woodbridge Park where we stop, get out and stretch our legs. A short paddle back to Mandoon sees us disembarking and walking you up to the Cellar Door to enjoy a well-earned wine tasting, coffee, tea or soft drink.
Our tour is designed to be relaxing and non strenuous. You do not need to have any paddling experience as your experienced guide will show you how to paddle the very stable kayaks. They are double kayaks so you only have to do half the work.

Paddle Rating – EASY The tour guides keep you in the calm part of the river. You will paddle slowly for about 30 - 45 minutes before we stop at Mandoon. The tasting fee for a sample of Mandoon wines is also included.
What's included:
Your kayak, paddles and life jackets. We also have dry bags to help protect your wallets, keys and camera. At the end we pack away the kayaks and then we buy you a coffee, tea or cool drink as we sit and enjoy the peaceful setting. We provide you a safety briefing and show you how to paddle these very stable sit-on top kayaks and our guides carry a first aid kit for your safety. No paddle experience is needed.
Tour Duration:
You will paddle slowly for about 45 minutes but the whole duration of this experience is 2 hours
What to wear and bring:
- You need to bring your own weather protection clothing including a hat and sunscreen
- Bring a full water bottle
- Shoes that can be worn in the water like reef shoes, wet-suit shoes or old sandshoes (not essential)
- A change of clothes
Tour Departs:
10.00am (Friday & Saturday's from mid October) - Start and finish at the main entrance of Mandoon Winery. Meet your guide here. They will be wearing white long sleeved shirts with GoGo Active logos.
