Ngilgi Cave Ancient Lands Experience

Embark on a breathtaking journey through time, beginning above ground along the Ancient Lands Experience. Venture along a scenic pathway winding through native bushland, which leads you to a series of interactive installations that breathe life into the very creation of this remarkable place.

Learn about the cultural connections to the land, flora & fauna, the formation of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge and the pristine caves beneath it.  Arriving at the entrance to Ngilgi Cave, prepare to be awestruck as you descend into the heart of the cave, where a self-guided adventure awaits.  You'll stand in wonder before majestic stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, and beautifully coloured shawls and be enlightened by the presence of passionate guides ready to share their wisdom..

Tour Duration:

1 hour from 9.15am every hour.  Must pre-book prior to arriving. Children 4 yrs – 16 yrs. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Full Day Margaret River Wine Tour

This indulgent day has just the balance of wine tasting accompanied by gourmet cheese tastings, chocolate, coffee, plus the excellent personal knowledge of the area and the local suppliers.

You will be picked up from your accommodation before the first stop at Yahava Koffeeworks for a demonstration on how to brew a coffee and learn about the origin of coffee while enjoying the extended tasting. Next we visit  McHenry Hohnen, where you can appreciate the sustainable, eco-friendly practices while tasting the fruitful results paired with local meats and cheese on crackers.

Continuing onto family owned and operated vineyard Brown Hill Estate who have a passionate team that utilises traditional wine-making methods such as hand picking and sorting the fruit. They specialise in using small, intensely flavoured grapes, which create deeper, richer wines. Observe the wine-making processes, tour the barrel room and learn more about the history of the winery from their trusted experts.

Then its onto our lunch spot for the day - the Nookery Cafe at Woody Nook Wines for a two-course feast and glass of wine. After lunch enjoy a seated wine tasting in the gallery before stopping at everyone's favourite...the Margaret River Chocolate Factory.  Visitors to Margaret River know that this is the ultimate indulgence to have wine with chocolate - so that’s why we stop here!  You will have the chance to taste chocolate that is freshly made here in the Margaret River region.

A trip to Margaret River wouldn’t be complete without checking out the natural olive oil skincare range at Vasse Virgin - you can also purchase some gourmet olive oil themed foods. Our last stop is at Wild Hop Brewing Company, where you can have a change of pace and sip some cold beer while enjoying the chill vibes and tranquil views.
