After being picked from or close to your Broome accommodation, enjoy a refreshing welcome smoothie on board our high-quality coach as we take you to our departure location, Gantheaume Point. From there, you are whisked to the boat without even getting your feet wet, on our speedy amphibious 'Sealegs' vessel. Once aboard, our crew makes you at home with onboard drinks and Tropical Fruit Salad to snack on while you wait for accompanying guests to join the boat. Coastal cruising on board our purpose-built premium charter boat, The Crusader III. Features of the boat include a large open lower deck, an upper viewing deck, front sun lounge and spacious interior cabin with full kitchen facilities.
Wild Pearling Experience
Enjoy your first course, as the boat departs the mooring as we travel approximately 8 kilometres offshore over native pearl oyster beds to Cygnet Bay’s Broome pearl leases, where you will help the crew shuck Cygnet Bay's Pinctada Maxima pearl oysters, learning about these animals, their lifestyle and habitat, possibly even finding a natural pearl! Enjoy the Pearl Meat course, a rare, expensive delicacy prepared by our onboard chef before journeying back to Cable Beach, to enjoy seated dining for the remaining banquet courses. It is here, at anchor, that you can witness the most beautiful sunset in the West: the descent of golden Kimberley skies creates a magical skyline you will simply never forget.
Complimentary drinks are served throughout the cruise, and your 7-course seafood banquet menu is paired with a selection of premium still and sparkling wines from Howard Park, with local Matso’s Ginger Beer, Spinifex Beer, 150 Lashes and Corona. Soft drinks are also available. You will dine on fresh local ingredients and seafoods, in a sumptuous menu prepared on board by our private chef. As you finish with delectable Kakadu Plum pearl dessert, soak up the magic of what will feel like your very own Broome sunset, while relaxing on the front sun lounge.
Take advantage of this exclusive vantage point to capture photos and videos to your heart’s content. Here you are not only watching this incredible sunset, you are part of it. You will then be taken back safely from the boat to shore, in a staggered departure, using our amphibious vessel, from where our coach will transport you back to your pickup location, after a glorious day on the water.

First Course:
Red Emperor Ceviche with fresh Avocado and Mango Salad and Artisan Bread & Butter.
Second Course:
Lemon Salt Encrusted Cone Bay Barramundi Fillet served with Saffron and Coconut Rice and Thai Green Papaya Salad.
Dessert:
Kakadu Plum and Orange Pearl Pudding with Passionfruit Sorbet.

Served throughout the cruise, Complimentary, free-flowing. Premium still and sparkling Margaret River Regional wines - Chardonnay, Riesling, Rose, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon and Pinot Noir by Howard Park, from their Regional Range. Enjoy quality bottled beers, including Matso’s Ginger Beer and Spinifex Beer, plus Corona and 150 Lashes. Plus a selection of soft drinks.

Tour departs:
2.45pm Daily (except Sunday) May through to September. Please notify us of your hotel name when you make this booking (in the special instructions section) and we will notify you of your hotel pick up time.
What to wear and bring:
Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and sun protection - hat, sunglasses, etc. You may on occasion need to walk a very short distance in minimal water, so please wear clothes that can be rolled up if needed, and won't be damaged if they are splashed with sea water. We advise you wear flat footwear as you will be in the open ocean and may need to wade through shallow water. You can remove and store shoes on the boat, we just ask guests to be mindful of the low risk of stubbed toes, etc., if you do this.
If you suffer seasickness, or aren't sure you don't, please take medication as motion sickness can be very unpleasant and we are not allowed to give any medication other than herbal remedies.
Cruise Departure information:
BOARDING On arrival at Gantheaume Beach we will take you out from the beach via a smaller tender vessel to our cruise vessel, The Crusader. There may be the need to do several rotations with the tender prior to The Crusader being fully loaded, or disembarked. Refreshments are provided throughout boarding, and this is a chance for you to relax on board the boat and get to know our crew, or swim from the beach if you wish.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS This tour requires all guests (under supervision from crew) to step from the beach or very shallow water onto a tender (about 30cm), and then from the tender onto the main boat, and so you must be mobile enough to do this. If you have any people in your group with any special mobility requirements, please contact our us or the booking office direct on +61 8 9586 1136 to discuss if this tour is suitable.
Note: This tour is not ideal for small children (under 5 years), however with an adult supervisor they are welcome and are free of charge.
There is no swimming off the board due to strong currents, tides and water hazards in the Broome waters.
