City of Perth Winter Arts Festival | 1st June

Immerse yourself in Perth's biggest winter festival featuring over 130 free and ticketed events across theatre, music, comedy, cabaret, dance, film, literature, family and visual arts, to keep you entertained over the colder months. Unique, thrilling, and unexpected experiences await you in the City this winter.

Perth International Jazz Festival | 3rd - 5th June

The Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) makes its much anticipated return to the city for its fourth consecutive year, from Friday 3 - Sunday 5 June 2016.

Pinjarra Festival | 4th - 5th June

With its impressive array of activities, stalls and live entertainment the 2016 Pinjarra Festival, Murray's largest Community event, is set to impress on Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 June.

Celebrate WA Day | 6th June

Western Australia (WA) Day is held on the first Monday in June each year. The annual public holiday is a proud occasion for all Western Australians to reflect and celebrate the people, places, community and culture that make WA so special.

This WA Day, Elizabeth Quay will come to life with a huge new WA Day Festival, celebrating the best of Western Australian culture. On Monday 6 June from 10am to 9pm, Elizabeth Quay will be jam packed with free activities for the whole family. Visitors are invited to spend the day exploring Western Australian music, food, sports, arts and culture.

The WA Day long weekend is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Western Australian culture. Get outside and explore our beautiful state with some of WA's top tours and activities.

Lake Gwelup Fun Run | 6th June

The Lake Gwelup Fun Run is a fun family day with a 3km or 6km Fun Run and Fete, being held on the Western Australia Day (public holiday). Enjoy the excitement and variety of rides and activities all morning long including Train Rides, Animal Farm, Martial Arts demonstration, food, stalls, games, live music and more!

Subiaco Theatre Festival | 8th June

Brave the cold this winter and head into Subiaco where some of WA's best independent theatre producers and artists will light up the Subiaco Arts Centre stage.

Presented by the Perth Theatre Trust, the Subiaco Theatre Festival will kick off on Wednesday 8 June and run until Saturday 2 July 2016 and feature four cutting edge theatre productions.

City Wine | 10th June

Western Australian wine comes to the city door step on 10 & 11 June where you can take in the tastes of WA in the pop up venue created at the Urban Orchard, part of the Perth Cultural Centre.

City of Joondalup Community Art Exhibition | 12th June

The 2016 City of Joondalup Community Art Exhibition will be held in an exciting new location in the Myer Centre Court at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City from Sunday 12 June to Saturday 25 June 2016.

Festa Junina - Brazilian June Festival | 18th June

This Festa Junina (June Festival) is the main celebration of Brazilian culture in Perth! Featuring Brazilian music, live bands, traditional dances ('quadrilha'), Brazilian cuisine, a licensed area, party games and free entertainment for children! This festival is organised and brought by BrazilWA - the Brazilian Association of Western Australia.

Joondalup Sunday Serenades | 19th June

The City is delighted to present Sunday Serenades, a series of fine music concerts held in the City of Joondalup Civic Chambers at 2.00pm on the third Sunday of every month from May to November.

Fremantle Winter Festival | 24th June - 17th July

Winter Festival docks in Fremantle for the second year, transforming the Esplanade Reserve into a winter haven full of fun activities for the whole family from 24 June - 17 July. With stunning open air ice rinks, rides, tasty food and drinks and much much more set against beautiful backdrops, Winter Festival Australia is the perfect magical white winter experience and the best way to spend your winter with friends and family!

Perth Upmarket | 26th June

Winter Upmarket will showcase more than 150 of the best local designers, artisans and craftspeople from the west. As Perth has come to expect from Upmarket, there will be a fantastic line-up including old favourites and a few debuts who will be showcasing their wares at Upmarket for the first time.

The University of Western Australia provides a great location to spend a day out in Perth so come along for a wander around and spoil yourself. Foodies love Upmarket and amongst the gourmet stalls you will find coffee, cupcakes, pizza, empanadas, pies and much more.
