Frostival Outdoor Ice Rink | 1st - 17th July

Skate with your friends and family on Frostival's outdoor ice-rink just metres away from the ocean, whilst snow falls around you.

Winter Arts Bar | 1st and 2nd July

Winter ArtsBar is for the curious, artistic and adventurous to perform, create and play. 

Hidden away in a decommissioned tunnel located under St Georges Terrace, this intimate pop-up space as part of the City of Perth Winter Arts Festival will showcase multi-media projections, installations and live performances - from electronica to opera with weekly residents, every Friday in July & August, 5pm till late! 

Visit Whiteman Park this School Holidays | 2nd July - 17th July

Located on the doorstep of the Swan Valley Food and Wine Region, Whiteman Park offers an extensive array of attractions and activities for kids during the school holidays from art and craft to pottery sessions. See what's on these winter school holidays below.

While you're there we recommend making a trip to Caversham Wildlife Park with the family. Spend the day at one of Perth’s most incredible attractions, showcasing the largest private collection of native wildlife in Western Australia. Hand-feed the kangaroos, join the interactive farm show, touch a possum or lizard, meet a wombat and have your photo taken with koalas. 

Love Your Local Wildlife: Rottnest Island | 3rd - 16th July

Every school holidays the Rottnest Island Authority together with the Rottnest Voluntary Guides Association offer a program of activities and tours that will get you out exploring and learning about Rottnest's natural environment and interesting history.

The theme for these school holidays is 'Love Your Local Wildlife!' A number of activities and tours will be on offer to suit the whole family, you're an animal lover or an adventure seeker, all activities and tours are delivered in an entertaining way so you will have a blast while learning about this fascinating Island and its beautiful natural environment.

Community Mural | 2nd July

Children and families can help paint a community mural at Elizabeth Quay with artist Mel McVee on 2 July, 10am - 1pm. The 20 metre artwork will have a Western Australian nautical and nature theme. No artistic experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm. For more information visit www.mra.wa.gov.au

NAIDOC Week 2016: First Peoples First Stories | 3rd - 29th July

You are invited to explore the State Library to discover the significant achievements by our first peoples. These stories show the extraordinary ways in which Indigenous resilience has shaped Western Australia.

Lighthouse 2016 | 7th - 27th July

LIGHTHOUSE is a City of Perth public art initiative in which artists are commissioned to create light based works of art on Council House using the existing external lighting infrastructure. The program for 2016 consists of works by Amy Perejuan-Capone and collaborators Emma Buswell and Melissa McGrath.

Live @ the Library | Friday 29th July

There’s an eclectic mix of music on offer Live @ the Library over the next few months, with one free performance per month on a Friday lunchtime at 1pm.

Winter Supper Club | Friday 29th July

On the last Friday of each winter month the Perth Town Hall undercroft and foyer host a colourful international food market serving hearty meals and snacks with a generous side of free live music.

Perth Home Grown | Sunday 30th July
