Day 1: Departing from the East Perth Railway terminal early we relax aboard the Prospector Train along the Avon River up the Darling Scarp into the wheatbelt and through the goldfields to Kalgoorlie.
Day 2: Off to see the old Gold Towns to the North. Firstly due north of Kalgoorlie is Broad Arrow. North again from here is Menzies. From Menzies we head west to the world renowned Antony Gormley statues on Lake Ballard. We enjoy a dusk champagne bush BBQ at the Lake and return to Kalgoorlie.
Day 3: We have a tour of Kalgoorlie and Boulder then free time for lunch before a visit to the Super Pit look-out and the famous Two Up Ring. We finish up the day at the Royal Flying Doctor Aircraft Base for an interesting tour.
Day 4: South via Coolgardie to Noresman where over 100 tonne of Gold has been taken out of the ground here since 1892. Continuing through Salmon Gums and the area heavily affected by fire in November 2015, to Esperance.
Day 5: A full day in Esperance commences with a boat cruise in the harbour and nearby stunning islands. After lunch enjoy some free time to explore Esperance. We take a delightful trip along the coast, Twilight Drive and return to Esperance via Pink Lake. Note: Boat Cruise included.
Day 6: Departing Esperance it is on to Ravensthorpe and Jerramungup before turning out to Bremer Bay. We have a delightful time in Bremer Bay visiting the town, the very beautiful beaches and scenery in the area. Later we reach Albany.
Day 7: Departing Albany to Southern West Australia’s highest peak, Bluff Knoll in the Stirling Ranges. Then via the very impressive Stirling Range Drive to Mt Barker and a visit to Plantagenet Wines for a tasting. Return to Albany. Note: Wine Tasting included.
Day 8: Morning tour of Albany City then to Mount Clarence and The National ANZAC Centre on Mount Adelaide. After lunch travel via Albany Highway through Kojonup and Williams to return to Perth. Note: Entry to ANZAC Centre included.
